Interlude is an entirely student-run platform, where we publish monthly digital articles along with physical copies of Interlude: The Zine. Prominently used in the field of music composition, interludes allow for artists + audiences alike to reflect on the musical experience they have just been presented. Likewise, we wanted to carry this lyrical approach to creating works that speak upon events from past + present – and their overall purpose in history and time. The goal of this platform is to become contribute to the digital momentum that educates our generation while building a community that embraces ideas of all mediums and minds. As the Executive Designer + Writer for Interlude, I had the opportunity to create the cover and inner illustrations (along with a few written pieces) for the zine.
